I have been wanting to try stamping on tile to create coasters for a while, however I didn't have the confidence in myself to try it. I ran across a different technique where you combine a specially printed picture with stamping. They turned out amazing. This was my first attempt at these (and I will be keeping these ones) so the pics aren't what I would normally use (heads won't be so cut off). I just got impatient to see if I can do it. I almost don't even want to tell you how easy they are to create and also very quick. I will be making these for Christmas presents for several people. The total cost for me was maybe $0.50 - yes fifty cents. I will put them into packs of 4, wrap them with a pretty ribbon and put them into a crafted holder that I will make. I can't wait to get these finished. PLEASE let me know what you think. Would you like to get one of these as a gift (or 4)? Is it is good gift idea or not?

Card Club projects
Here are the projects we will be making for Sept card club. The first is a little project that goes over a water bottle and holds individual juice packages. They are so easy and really fun. This one is in a kind of halloween theme (I really don't have much halloween). I used Enchanted paper for this. These would make a great little teachers gift for Christmas or any quick gift idea.
This was such a fun little card to make. It is made with Animal Cookies Creative Basics (and one of the pinwheels is from Animal Cookies paper packet). I ran out of white brads but that would be my preference.

deciding to get organized
I finally did it! Several weeks ago I spent several hours (28 to be exact) sorting my pictures online into years, occassions, months, family member etc. It took forever and I have actually been keeping up with it pretty good. My intention was to get them all in one place so I could back them up. Well tonight we were looking for a disk and came across several CD's with photos on them. Oh boy, now I need to go through them all. So needless to say I took on the project and went through several disks ensuring I don't duplicate pictures....... But FINALLY it is all (well almost) finished. All my photos are now backed up onto a flash drive - even though there are a few left to be sorted. All this stemmed from us losing some pictures of my son's 3rd birthday. How do you ever get those back? What do you do when they are gone? We managed to recover 11 of them out of about 40. At least there will be some for future scrapbooking and reference.
If you are looking to get your photos organized and want some pointers on how I did it, feel free to ask. I am always happy to share my techniques with everyone.

Trying something new - Iris fold
I am not much of a Halloween fan, but I really wanted to try our iris folding. I can't believe how easy it is. The name of the website where I got this template from escapes me at the moment (it is bookmarked on our other computer) but they have several free templates. I can honestly say that the picture doesn't do it justice. I thought it was such a cute card until I uploaded it. Trust me when I say that it looks better in person. However, I can't believe how easy iris folding is and how much fun it is also. I used Enchanted paper from CTMH. I have some Christmas cards that I would like to do. I think I am going to share this technique with my card club.

Christmas Cards for workshops and club cards
These are some of the Christmas cards I have made for upcoming card clubs and a Christmas card workshop that I am having in early November. Please provide any comments that you think would help to make them better.
I scraplifted this and can't remember who it was from - if you know who created this card I would love to give credit where it is due. I made a few alterations to it and really like it. Mel, this is the barn red - just for you!
This is a scraplifted card - I thought it was so cute. I made a couple alterations to it but just love how it turned out. It is such a great effect to paper piece.
This is my CTMH version of the Snow Friends cards (one with SU paper is in a previous post).

These are such fun cards and I think they are really cute.....how about you?
This is the CTMH version of the Christmas Tree balls (the SU one that I did is in a previous post). Before it goes to a card club or workshop I may do some alterations to it. For the time being.....This is it. Give me your opinions - what else should I do to it to make it better?
