cards

Here is what I have been up to the last little bit. A Friend of mine just became a SU consultant so I was playing around with some paper I bought from her in the mini catalogue. I also used the flowers from the CTMH Tickled pink kit, It is really cute. This is the first flower pot card that I have made.

My Nanny (grandmother) turned 95 today. This is the card that I made for her. Very simple and to the point.

While I was using this paper pack, I thought I would do a few more really simple cards. Here are a couple.

This is a SU card that I made when we went to my friends house for her first open house. It is super cute. I really do love the big shot and what it can do.

Scrapbook room

Well, here is a look at my scrapbook room. I am in an area where we have no drywall or carpet in our basement. I out grew my other room so this wil have to do. I am fairly happy in my little space. I have ample room to do what I need and even have a TV this time. It is fairly dark in this area so I was so excited to find an Ott light at Michaels 60% off. WOW - great deal. It almost made it affordable.

April's projects

Here are 2 cards that we will be making using the Veranda paper pack. These are April's projects. The Cranberry ribbon picks up the cranberry colour in the B&T papers. I have also used clear embossing to give a bit of pizazz.

This card is simple yet elegant. The flowers use second generation stamping to give a softness.

This layout is very pretty. The dimensions for the picture borders are 3x3 and 4 1/2 x 6 1/2.

The dimensions of the picture borders in this layout are 3x5.

March's projects

Here are the card club and scrapbook club projects we will be making for March.

Here is the layout that we will be completing. The dimensions where each of the picture goes is 6 1/4 x 4 1/4 (x2), 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 (x1), 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 (x2), 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 (x 2). Remember that each of your pictures will be about 1/4 inch smaller that the border.
