Whenever I am in my craft room I always seem to have to very curious little assistants.  When it isn't my kids wanting to help, it is these sweet little fellows.  They lay very close to whatever I am doing and just watch - or sleep.  Gotta love them!

They forget sometimes they aren't small kittens anymore but still try to fit in the same small bed.

Sympathy card

This is a simple sympathy card that I made a couple days ago.  This is the one occasion that I find hard to make a bunch of ahead of time as they are so personal.  I am hoping that this is one that I would be happy to send to most anyone.  The background is stamped in en francais but is very light (3rd generation).  I love this stamp set.

Cara's card club

I have been using up a lot of my time this week by cleaning out my scrapbook room and reorganizing as things haven't been working like they used to in there for me.  Needless to say I haven't had a chance to do much of my own in the way of card making.  It is a good thing that I belong to a card club and get to go out once in a while......By the posts you can see that it has been a lot lately.  No more now until mid march..... Hopefully I will get a chance to create something of my own in that time. lol  I am just waiting for some stuff to come in from Stampin Up and then I will be creating away!!!!!

Anyways, here are the 3 cards that we made at Cara's today.  I think that the first one is my favourite....It is her Saleabrations card as everything used is unique only to saleabrations....

Cara's card club

Wow, 2 days in a row I have been able to post.  I must say that it helps that I have been going to card classes this past weekend.  Cara's card club is my regular class.  She does such amazing work and she too needs to start a blog.  Cara is a SU demonstrator and just got back from Leadership so has some amazing ideas that she shared with us.  I took some pictures of swaps that she got.  I will post tomorrow.

Shauna's card class

A friend of mine is also a SU demonstrator and I went to her house on Friday for a card class.  The 4 cards below are what we made.  I have to say it is super strange how they look so nice in person and then the pictures just don't do the cards justice.  Just trust me - Shauna makes BEAUTIFUL!!!! cards.  I also love her stampin name - Mrs. Moose's creations.  She needs to start a blog.

Well, it seems that it has been forever since I posted. Since Christmas, my life has been almost overwhelming. So, needless to say I am just looking to get back at crafting. The weather is incredibly cold here right now, so what better to do and cuddle up in my craft room and create...Hope to be posting soon!!!!

Birthday Invitations

I can't believe how fast time goes. A little over a week ago I was scrambling to get everything finished and now here I am finally getting a chance to relax a little. In amongst all the hustle and bustle of Christmas is my daughter's birthday. Even though we celebrate with family we keep her party for after Christmas. This was the invitation that I made for her 5 friends who are coming. Obviously I used the Cricut and am really impressed with how they turned out. The back is just computer printed on white paper with all the details.
