Regional technique cards

These are the cute little technique cards that we did with Jeanette The techniqes are as follows:

background using a border stamp and first and second generation stamping
rounding stamps
masking
random stamping
kissing

Paper piecing
2 colour stamping
blender pen
first, second, third generation stamping
rock n roll

Scrapbook room

I am so excited that we are getting part of our basement finished (the playroom/rec room). In doing so it eliminates access to my scrapbooking room as all of the finished areas are all taped off with plastic - my room being one of them. I have been in such a creative mood lately and have so much to design. I think I am addicted.....Ok, I know I am addicted....

Calgary Regionals artwork part 1

These are the two card that we made at Regionals. We used the Stardust paper packet. They really are cute little cards. We also make a little technique book. I will take photos of that and post it later today. It is a great idea and was A LOT of fun.

Although this isn't one of my favourite paper packets I find this layout to be really fun and happy. I look forward to putting the pictures of my daughter on them to finish them off. All the layouts below are page 1 first followed by page 2. Paper packet - daydream

Calgary Regional artwork part 2

This is the perfect day with evensong paper that we did. It is from the Imagine book. Obviously still needing pictures to complete the look. I am getting there.

These are the WOTG (Workshop on the go) layouts that we did using Back Country paper packet. The green strip at the bottam should be barn red and the Nature word would show up better on it. Put these two layouts side by side and they are a perfect match. They really are beautiful.

These are the second layouts we completed with the new paper packet Back Country. Obviously still in need of pictures to complete them. These are on the back page of the WOTG brochure. The layouts can be found in Imagine (Jeanette Lynton's scrapbook layout idea book). There are two more layouts and a couple cards to make and it will use the entire paper packet. In the coming days I will go ahead and make the last 2 layouts and cards to give a great idea of how far a paper packet really does go.

This is the memory box that we made at Regional's. I need to complete it with a 7x7 picture and I have the perfect one in mind - now it is getting the time to actually get it printed. Although I would do this memory box a bit differently it is still a great first attempt. It is the first one I have made.

April card club

Here are a couple of the cards that we are making at April's card club. The first is done with petal and smokey plum colours. The edges of the butterfly wings are done with glitter. The background is a brayer effect over versa marked image. The Butterfly Wings stamp set is so beautiful. This card we will be using for Mother's Day

We were wanting to do a masculine birthday card but also introduce a fun style. This is what we came up with. Using the Sarsasparilla paper this is the final product. It is rustic and masculine. This is one of my favourite cards.

Wedding card

Here is a wedding card that I did for a family member. It looks kinda blah in the picture but is so beautiful in person. Let me know what you think.
