Redesign my craft room - Again. lol

I have had to redo my craft room again. I am trying to figure out a configuration that will work. Everything I have tried so far hasn't worked. I now have everything within reach and a table for my cricut and cuttlebug. Hopefully this set up will work as my husband is tired of helping me move stuff. lol

Here are a couple modern christmas tags that I created playing with Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss. I am actually quite taken with them. The picture doesn't do them justice.

tealight holder - Vellum

I got this template online and think it makes such a beautiful tealight holder - for non flame candles of course. Please let me know what you think of it..... I can't believe how easy it is to make.

Christmas Lodge card

This has to be one of my favourite cards. My camera isnt' working so well these days so the colours are really off. We are going to be doing this card along with the elf card seen in an earlier post at my workshop on Nov 7. The embossed background is actually crumb cake colour from SU.

Cozy Fireplace

I am so disappointed with the colour of this card on my camera. This card is such a beautiful card. The brick look like stone and the Cherry cobbler stockings are super cute. I have seen other versions of this card, but this is my take on it. It definately has some work put into it, but so worth the end result.

Elf Shoes

Here is one of my favourite cards. I can't take credit for it, but I think it is so sweet. This is one of the cards that we will be doing at the Xmas card workshop on Nov 7.

ribbon storage

I must say that ribbon storage is the most difficult thing in my scrapbook room for me. However, I think I found something that works. This was ribbon that was just in bins and I had no idea what I had - can't use it if you don't know you have it. So I tied it all loosely onto a hanger and put it up on a nail high on the wall. Leaving it anywhere low just made it into a cat toy. I also got some small shelves from Ikea and it houses my rolls. I finally got them all colour coordinated and I am now feeling confident that I can see what I had. Besides the fact that I have a ribbon obsession, this is going to keep me from buying what I already have. I have about 8 more rolls coming in the next couple days so I may have to make more room again.... I would love to hear how you store your ribbon.

Easy birthday card

The little girl next door is having her birthday party tomorrow. I wanted a very simple and easy card to make for her as I didn't have a whole lot of time to get this done. This is what I came up with. I think it turned out pretty cute. My daughter LOVED it so that is really all that matters.

Thank you Ms Molly....

I would like to extend a sincere thanks to Ms. Molly of Good Golly Ms. Molly. She presented me this blog award and gave me some very kind words. Getting a little note about a post that you made is always touching and appreciate; However, knowing that someone took the time out of their busy schedule to let me know they enjoy my blog and send an award for it is very meaningful! So again, I sincerely thank you. Please stop by Ms. Molly's blog and take a look at her work. I think she is very talented and find her work to be very creative with a simple elegance.
As stated on Ms. Molly's blog Liebster means "beloved" or "favorite" in German). Because it's directed at "smaller" blogs, those with 200 or less followers, and it helps them get more hits and then potentially more followers, it seems like not only a good deal for me, but for five more small blogs, so here it goes.

Here are the Liebster Blog Award Rules (not in my words):

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.

2. Reveal your top 5 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.

3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.

4. Have faith that your followers will spread the love to other bloggers.

5. And most of all - have fun!

Ms. Molly created this rule and I feel that it is very appropriate. If any of the people I pass the award on to have any reservations about participating, PLEASE don't worry about it. Just know that I do enjoy your blog. You shouldn't have to pass this one to know that I enjoy what I see on your blog.

My picks (in no particular order):

Brenda from Keenan's Creations

Tonya from In All Sassiness

Cindy from Nutmeg Creations

Kathy from Crafty Creations By Kathy

Laurie from Stamping in Deerland

I must admit that it is so hard to choose just 5 as there are so many wonderful blogs out there. However, these are 5 that I do frequent often and enjoy all of their artwork....
