Dry Erase board

I saw one of these on the CTMH website and was really excited to try one. I love the emporium paper so I thought that it would be the best place to start. Here is what I came up with - hope you like it. I am pretty excited about it. The picture doesn't have the best colour as the lighting at night isn't that great in our house. I will try to take another one later and repost.

Thank you to our card club

February was the second month that we met with our card club. I think that Cindy and I are the luckiest consultants around. We have such a great group of ladies who join us once a month for some paper crafting, good conversation, and all around a lot of fun. I would just like to send out my thanks to each of our member:
Anna
Tracy
Yvette
Cheryl
Amanda
Melanie
You all make our card club what it is and it has definately been a blast so far.

I would also like to say "See you soon" to Cindy. She is moving at the end of this week and will be greatly missed. I am so glad that she will be able to come back and join us for card club on occassion. She is an inspiration and a wonderful person. Thanks so much for your kindness, and the friendship of your family. I am sure as always that "I will talk to you tomorrow".

A couple new cards

There is so much happening in our life right now - every event needs a card. I made 3 cards tonight to represent some of these events. I totally welcome and appreciate comments.

This card I made using the CTMH Sarsaparilla papers. Debbie did a great job designing this template and I am greatful to be using it. I love this paper and it is so cute for a new baby boy. Along with the paper I used Barn Red ink.

This card was designed for friends who are moving. My 3 children (which is what the stars represent) will be giving this to their children. We are sad they are moving, but look forward to seeing eachother in the future once they are settled. I probably should have done the actual tag in another colour....

This card is my favourite. I just got the CTMH Baroque alphabet and LOVE it. Also tonight I got a Cuttlebug. I am so excited it was 50% off at Michaels so I couldn't resist. I got this background template and love love love it! This card may be a bit formal for a baby but I love it just the same. Her name is Kallie therefore the K. I look forward to using both my new toys more.....

Hair Massacure Head Shaving.....the results...

Here is the result of tonight's hair shaving. We decided to get Rylan's hair shaved too even though we didn't pink it. I am so proud to say that they raised over $800 to go to the Make a Wish Foundation and The Stollery Hospital oncology dept. I couldn't be more proud of my boys - they are all very brave and a lot less vain about their hair than I am.... I truly admire them. Here are the pics of the shaving......

Friends birthday and moving

Sadly my friend and CTMH partner is moving away :( But before she moves she is having a birthday. I made a couple of cards in honour of both of these occassions. The first uses CTMH papers from That's Amore paper packet and then is stamped inside with Sassy Suzie from Stampin Up - the quote reads "Your friendship is the most uplifting thing in my life without underwire". This is a card that could only be given to someone you know really well that has a great sense of humour. That is definately where this one is going. The other card I created was for them moving....I used paper that I purchased from a local scrapbooking store and used Stampin Up stamp set - Embrace Life.

Here is some more artwork that I have completed. The two below are for a swap that I am in.

This one is a 3x3 and so cute. Pictures really don't do these cards justice..... Happy looking

This is a baby card that I made lastnight for a friend who is having a baby shower. We don't know if she is having a girl or a boy and the shower is before baby is scheduled to arrive. I made two of them and switched the flowers out - one has all white flowers and the other has the 2 pink flowers. The products used are all from CTMH. I used the CM punch to create the tag.

This was my first attempt at a baby girl dress card. They are so cute. I haven't made one of the overalls yet, but that will hopefully be coming soon.

This is a bride to be card using CM paper and a SU stamp. It is for a wedding shower. The glitter isn't showing up very well - but the bride has chunky glitter on it. This is a really sweet card. The earth tones fit perfectly with the wedding shower I created it for.

This is one of my favourite cards. I love the stamp set (Summer by the sea from SU). It makes such a pretty sympathy card. The picture below is the inside of the card. I got a Footprints stamp from Michaels and think it is absolutely beautiful. Footprints is one of my favourites.

This is a reflection card that I did - again using the Summer By the Sea stamp. This is such a pretty effect and I enjoy this card.

This is a frienship card. It is a very happy card with the beautiful purples on it.

Getting Pinked

Well, I must admit I am a proud wife and mother. Today Tony and Alex got their hair "pinked" and will be shaving their heads on Feb 12. It is for the annual St. Valentine's Day Hair Massacure. Alex participated last year and made us so proud his dad decided to join him this year. I still don't have the nerve to shave my head.....Maybe next year????? Regardless all the monies raised will go to The Stollery Oncology and Make a Wish Foundation. What better charities could there be. I am posting the pictures of them through the process.
