Christmas cards

Here are a couple really simple Christmas cards that I have made. I send out so many cards at Christmas and really needed to find something to streamline my process. I really love how they turned out. The paper is Stampin Up! and the stamps are CTMH. Let me know what you think. Would you like to receive these in the mail? Oh and they are 4x4.

Travelling Trio - the solo suitcase

This is from a template - The travelling Trio that I bought from Becky at http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com/. There are three in the project but I have only been able to do one so far. I will be working on the others in the coming days or weeks. I love the look of this. I used CTMH Silhouette paper. The insert holds pens, cards, post it notes and paper clips or other items. It is so much fun to make. Check out Becky's blog for more great ideas. She has certainly been an inspiration to me.

Stamp books

These are a couple of albums that I made for my stamps. I find it so much easier to be able to flip through a book to get inspiration instead of pulling out each of my stamp sets. I also find it easier to figure out how to integrate several stamp sets together. I got the CTMH album at Michael's. It is Lilac Mist colour so I stamped all the stamp sets in Lilac Mist. I also printed off labels for each page with the stamp name and number. Right now they aren't in any particular order I just needed to get it done. I will probably work on it again sometime but for now it works. That is all I need. Now I just need to keep up on putting my stamp sets into it. I think that the new little binders that CTMH has would be really cute for this purpose. I was just too impatient. I had the time and wanted to do it NOW!!! lol

This is the book I made with my bind it all machine. I used a uhh uhh - the word won't come to me right now - the binding - but it was too small so I need to get a bigger one and do it again. I will decorate the front of this as well but again just haven't gotten to it. I also have to set up labels for it. This is for my Stampin Up! stamps. People who have seen it in person have actually asked me to help make one for them. It is actually very cute in person.

MIA

I know I haven't been posting in a little over a week but it seems that the summer wrap up here is just been crazy. I do have some projects completed, it is just a matter of getting pictures taken and posting them - hopefully tonight.

I finally got around to making an album where I have stamped all of my CTMH stamp sets. That way I can view the album page by page and know exactly what I have. It feels good to have that done.

I also created a stampin up! book for all my wooden stamps. I used my bind it all machine for that. I have had a few requests to make albums for people now - hmmm do I hear workshop? lol

Also, I have started my Christmas cards. I used CTMH stamps and SU paper so I can't post on bulletin boards. They are so cute! Can't wait to get them posted.

I have also made a suitcase that was from a template I bought from Becky. There are 2 more in the series so I have more work to do. Can't wait to post those.

I am also am waiting for my NEW CTMH products today. UPS messed up the shipment (about the 4th shipment in a row that got delayed). They assured me it will be here today. I say I will believe it when I see it. Not to be negative but I am losing faith in them rapidly.

Open Card Club concept - how it works.

Most of my clubs in the past have been traditional 6/30 clubs meaning that there were 6 members who were committed to spending $30/month for 6 months. We always made a great project at no extra cost, and had lots of fun. Sometimes I had people who wanted to join the club while we were in the middle and I didn't have a spot for them.

Well, now I am proud to announce my new “Non-Commit,” “Open” Creative Club which will allow anyone to join at any time with no monthly commitment. “How does it work?” you ask.
Here are the details...We will meet at my house the 3rd Tuesday or each month (for card club) and 4th Wed of each month (for scrapbooking club). There will be a make up class if you are unable to attend the your class. That will be the 3rd Friday of each month for both clubs.

You may join the club at any time and there is no commitment to stay in the club for any length of time or to place an order.

Card club:

There will be a $5 fee for the supplies used for the projects we make which will range from cards to small gift items, and more. If you place an order or $25 there will not be required to pay the $5 supply fee. It will be FREE.

Scrapbooking Club:

There is no requirement to place an order. However to complete the project you will need to order the supplies a month in advance. You choose the level that you want to purchase your product at (Basic, Better, Best) as seen above. The average cost of these supplies will be $30 - $40.

AUG 20 IS THE DATE YOU NEED TO ORDER BY.

Both Clubs:

Each person who signs up for this club will have their name added to the bottom of the hostess list. The person whose name is on the top of the list will get the hostess rewards that month. In order for your name to keep its “place” on the list, you must place a $25 minimum order whether you attend the class that month or not. If you do not place a $25+ order that month, then your name goes down to the bottom of the list. If you do place a $25+ order, then your name continues to move up the list.

JOIN BOTH CLUBS:

If you choose to join both clubs you will only be required to purchase the scrapbook supplies and pay the $5 fee for card club. Your name will go on the hostess rewards once unless you choose to purchase the minimum $25 for card club too. Then you will be on the hostess list 2 times.

If you have any questions, please contact me. See the Back Country layout below to see the project we will be making for September.

Scrapbooking club layout

These are the layouts that we will be making at our first scrapbook club in Sept. Remember to order your supplies by Aug 20. The pictures are of my youngest child. It was SO hot this date but yet the kids all insisted on being outside for fun. It was a great day and we really enjoyed camping with our family.

Glass block workshop

These sweet little glass blocks are for an upcoming workshop of mine. The workshop takes place September 25 and there is no cost for this workshop only what the supplies cost - $17.00 but if you place a min $25 order I will drop the price to $12.00. I am really excited about it. I do not have the lights for them yet - they will be here in the mail this week. I can't wait to get them lite up and see how adorable they are then. The first one is 6x6 and the bottom one is 8x8. If you are interested in this workshop, please send me and email. This was so much fun! I just realized that the first one doesn't have his nose painted. Best get that finished.

surprise photos

There are a few special people who will be receiving these little cards as my blog gift. I hope that you enjoy them! The crimped card is my first attempt at doing this kind of card. How did it turn out? Well, tell me what you think. As for the sesame street card - I am not sure why I am feeling the need to find different ways to create them.....Guess they are just fun! Please make my day and leave a comment. And if you are one of the people who received these - like I said earlier, I hope you enjoy them.
