Here are a couple of masculine cards that I did. The farm one is for my dad for Father's Day (whew working ahead, it is a miracle). Coming from a die hard farming family, it just seemed appropriate that this would be perfect for him. Even the saying. We can't even convince him to slow down a bit. My Dad is a hard worker - always has been and always will be. One thing for sure, I couldn't be more proud to have him as my father.
This is masculine (well until I stuck the butterfly on it). The stamp is from Stampin up (shame on me I know) but I love the effect of it. Again, it kinda fits into my life growing up on the farm. I always welcome positive feedback as well as constructive criticism - that is how you become better at what you do.

I am on a roll tonight.
Okay, last post for today. This is definately one of my favourite cards I think I have ever created. It is so pretty and really versitile. You can use it for a baby card, birthday card, mother's day (anyone from card club hearing this? Yip, that is probably one that you will be making). They truly are beautiful and the picture just does not do it justice. If you want instructions, let me know and I will be happy to provide them to you. There is one similar to it on the CTMH boards but unfortunately I can't remember who did it.
Card swap spoiler
Well, I have joined my second card swap.... I really enjoy creating for others as well as getting projects back that others have created as well. Anyways, the card I created took some adjusting. The top picture is the first one I created. I stamped the saying on the card stock and then on the vellum I clear embossed a butterfly from the CTMH March stamp of the month - butterfly wings (I love this set). It turned out ok, but I felt it needed a bit more - so back to work...
This is what I came up with for the swap. It has a blush stamped butterfly on the cardstock and then I clear embossed it. I then put the vellum over the image and stamped the sayin over the middle of the butterfly. This way you can see the imagine of the butterfly without having to have it reflect in the light. I was pretty excited about it and happy to have turned it in to my swap leader today. hopefully everyone will like it. PLEASE give feedback on it. Is this a card you would like to receive? Oh, and I did add 2 smaller sparkles to the bottam so there are 3 on each side. It made a big difference and looks so cute!
A couple of better pictures
Okay, so here are a couple of the pictures of stuff what we have done. The first two pictures are from Feb. card club - these are the actual samples. The next picture is from this month's card club - it is what the case looked like - the 4 simple cards below were what was put into the little purse. I was in total shock at how much everyone loved that little project. It was simple, easy and something they could see themselves doing again. That was great to hear.

Challenge to you my "friends"
I was on a blog that I now follow - http://angelascraftcloset.blogspot.com/. She had this little challenge and I thought that it looked like a lot of fun. I really enjoy her work and look forward to seeing what she has in store for me. The catch is that you have to do the same thing on your blog. So here it goes.......
The first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me. It will be my choice what I send to you. But...there is a catch...ready?
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year!
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. I have tons of ideas, but who knows what it will be? Not you, that's for sure!
5-The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re post this on your blog and offer the same to the first
5 people who do the same on your blog! (then come here and post, I WILL check your blog *wink*)
The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Any of my friends up for the challenge?
Okay, now it is your turn.....

March card club
The bunny love card is one of my favourite cards. This was inspired by Nancy Brown's work. These recessed cards are so much fun to do - not to mention really turn out great. Even the inside is adorable. The last 4 cards have a little "purse"type holder that they will go in (which I haven't totally finished yet). We wanted our members to see that making cards can be really complex with lots of techniques but also the simpliest cards are sometimes the most elegant. When they are all put into their purse, the would make a great gift idea for someone. I will post the purse and the completed project but I thought I had better get these posted before March was over. The purse project was inspired by Vicki Wizniuk.
February card club projects
These are the cards that we made for February card club (better posted late than never right?). One of my members left her cards at my house so they are now on my blog (with her permission of course). I used hers as examples to show the beautiful work that the girls are doing. They are mostly all new to card making and are able to follow instructions on the most complicated cards. We are just enjoying card club so much.
The boy and girls cupcake birthday cards were inspired from the Close To My Heart idea book. The last was inspired by the Gatherings on the Go from the Close to my Heart website. The oragami fold card was fairly small when recreated from the website so we increased it by several inches and made it perfect size for an invitation, card or to use in a scrapbook.
