First posting

Wow, so here I am....My first blog ever. I am still not really sure what I am doing so bear with me while I figure things out. I really want a place to display the artwork - scrapbook layouts, cards and other paper crafting that I do. I may even throw in a sewn item or two.

I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years now - boy has it changed over the years. My first introduction to scrapbooking included some pictures, a few cardstock shapes (2 triangles and 12x1 retangle pieces) and a background. It is amazing now to see the amazing designs that are created now with the embellishments, beautiful papers and a bit of personal style.

Cardmaking is relatively new to me. I have only been doing it for about 1.5 years. I was inspired by my Stampin Up consultant to make cards and other paper crafts. I was later introduced to Close To My Heart and all the wonderful products this company has to offer.

My neighbour and good friend Cindy and I decided that we would embark on an adventure together of sharing our passion for paper crafting with others. We became consultants for Close To My Heart and have started our first card club. We are having so much fun creating, designing, and sharing our ideas.

The following posts will have artwork that we have created. We hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we enjoyed creating them.
