Shauna's card class part 4 of 4

This is a cute little kite card that we made.  This would be perfect for a little girls birthday!!!  We stamped a clear envelope with this - it didn't photograph well enough to post.  We used the SU doily stamp set.  You must use Staz on to stamp on that.

This is a card and gift card holder - staying true to the theme of envelopes.  What a great card.  You can see how it all works.

This is a card with envelope we made using a note card sized envelope (available thru stampin up).  You can see how each is decorated and it all fits together.  Shauna always jokes she has scrapbook diarrhea and embellished a lot on her cards.  this is one that is very plain and simple - yet really cute.

Shauna's card class part 1 of 4

I went to a card class at Shauna's tonight and she had an envelope theme going on.  This is a gift card holder made from an envelope sized for a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card folded in half and then embellished.

I got the inspiration for this card from a card that was circulating at our last stampin up meeting.  The tag at the bottom serves as the closure clasp for the card.  It is such a great card!!!!!

I love this card - such a neat idea.  To colour I used the versa marker and chalk.  Also my favourite white gel pen was also used.

Here are a couple of cards that I made.  The basic design was scraplifted several months ago and I couldn't identify who originally created it.  This is my version of it.

Michelle Zindorf inspired card

I have always been a huge fan of Michelle Zindorf but never had the confidence to try to duplicate her work.  I must say today I got the nerve and was actually very proud of how it turned out.  I will be creating this card at my April 13th card workshop.  I can't wait.

crayon resist

This is an crayon resist project that I did.  I really wish that the photo turned out better because it is really very pretty.  I do love this technique.  Of course I blinged it up with some dazzling diamonds glitter......

Stampin Up Meeting

On Saturday March 17th, we had our "We Can Stamp" group meeting in Millet.  It was so much fun to be there and meet new people and get some much needed inspiration!  I've been running on brain drain the last little while.

Have you used the new diagonal plate for the Simply Scored?  That is how we made the envelopes at the bottom of the section.  It is nice sometimes to have an envelope that not only looks pretty but matches the card you created.

These are the cards that we made at Cara's last week.  They were so much fun and super cute!!!
