Christmas workshop
Since my paper crafting stuff is mostly packed up, I was limited to what I had available to play with and create. So, unfortunately I mostly scraplifted ideas and made them my own. I love this card and even decorated a fun little envelope to go with it. There are 2 cards - one uses the Mistletoe paper pack and the other uses Jingle. Both cards use the A Timber stamp set from CTMH

stampin up class I attended
This is the first card that we did. To make the background under the snowflakes we used a brayer wrapped in suran wrap. WHAT A GREAT IDEA. I obviously have never done this before and it gives such a cool effect. The silver paper is new from SU. It is almost like beehive paper - it is thin and crinkley. So easy to use and the rolls have so much paper on them.
This was what the demonstrator created for us as a gift for coming. A cute little paper clip purse book mark. So fun!

It's been a long time.....
This card is my version of Lisa Stenz's Christmas Present Card. It is actually a really fun card to make. Picture 2 shows it taken apart so you could write on it.

Another shopping site I visit
As this site doesn't look like your typical site that you would purchase from I was very skeptical. There were a few items that I wanted to try and I couldn't beat the prices. Needless to say I gave it a shot and was VERY impressed. I have ordered a few times from this site and always found the quality to be good and the staff helpful.
There are a couple of things on this site that made me stop and think. One was it is a bit confusing to look around at everything - but once you visit the site a couple time you become aware of the areas which you are most interested. The other thing that kinda threw me was the language used. The lady who runs the site refers to herself as Queen Xina and always speaks in the third person. If you can get past this the site has some amazing and unique little finds.
If you visit this site - please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of it.

The time has come....
Since I can't post artwork, I will post some of my favourite shopping sites.
One of my favourite shopping sites is Custom Crops I find this site has almost everything that you need. I get most of my Cricut Cartridges here as they are so reasonably priced. There are so many other great products on this site as well. My favourite is you can always count on them for a good sale. My advice is to check them out.

June SOTM blog hop
If you have come here from Shannon Pelletier's blog, you are on the right path! If this is your first stop, you may want to go back to Kathleen's Blog and start from the beginning.
This month we have (number of participants) Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one. Here we go!
This is a very simple card that I made. I used the "It's A Guy Thing" paper pack from CTMH, Wonderful Friend (June's SOTM), and a couple embellishments. All product, ink etc is from CTMH. This is an envelope style card and here are the instructions on how to re-create it.
What you need:
It's a guy thing paper pack
Wonderful Friend - June SOTM stamp set
Dessert sand ink
black ink
black embroidery floss - 38"
black embroidery floss - 20"
2 black eyelets
adhesive
my acryllic blocks
1 3/8" circle punch
crop a dile
trimmer
stylus
Cut Dessert Sand Cardstock to 8 1/2 x 7 1/4.
Score at 4" and 1/2"
Random stamp all images in dessert sand ink onto the cardstock.
Fold on all score lines
Adhere the bottom of the envelope and along the 1/2" score line.
Using your circle punch, punch a 1/2 circle in the middle top of the envelope.
Cut black cs at 2" x 1 1/2"
Cut B&T at 1 1/2 x 1 1/4"
stamp DAD on the B&T paper. Adhere the black Cardstock and B&T together.
Using crop a dile set a black eyelet into the Dad papers.
Using the black embroidery floss wrap 3-4 times around the bottom of the envelope. Using pop up dots adhere the DAD papers to the embroidery floss (tie floss through eyelet).
INSERT:
Cut black cardstock 3 3/4" x 7"
Cut B&T paper to 3 1/2" x 6 3/4"
Adhere together
stamp as shown on image.
Using your crop a dile set a black eyelet at the top of the insert.
Tie black embroidery floss as shown on image.
Take you Wonderful Friend stamp set using Dessert Sand ink random stamp as desired.
Fold card and adhere bottom together. Then adhere 1/2" score to back of card. Punch 1/2 circle using the 1 3/8" circle punch out of the top of the card envelope.
To start the blog hop over, return to Kathleen's blog and see her work. Be sure to visit all of the consultant's at their blogs to get some great crafting and other ideas. Remember the June SOTM - Wonderful Friend - is only available until June 30.
